I am so jealous right now. So so so so jealous. I don't care about the workload and the fact that you could rival Atlas with the amount of work piled on your shoulders; I'm just going to sit here and be jealous at you.

But I am grateful that you won't forget your promise. This will assuage some of my jealousy.

I see that interviews may not be done of me. Sad desu! But if you find yourself in need, I have a DVR now, and I'm not afraid to use it!

wakikaki!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *kisses from afar to you and the gals* I miss you soooooo much.

I would write more, but you ought to be in bed, so I'm not going to go point by point. Though I do remind you that Prof X (that is not in your good book) is a nice lady (usually) and she does know what she's doing. She is also good for looking up interesting facts and stuff, so there's always that aspect to try and distract her onto.

Good luck, and no matter what I love you and will help with phonology, so life is good.

do you want to come do it in my place? just show up and answer to 'nikki'. i'm sure no one would notice.

i♥u.

i was in bed. datte, she's also not the world's best lecturer. she does get distracted by shiny lx and analyzing what people say automatically. In normal conversations, I'd be cool with that (and you know it), but in class when she's teaching, it means she doesn't cover everything, but still expects us to understand everything with the same level of clarity as if she had explained it.
maaa, i suppose part of the work of a graduate student is to be able to come out of crap readings with working lx knowledge, but. I just feel like if there's still a lecture segment, then it should be useful for something.

As in living there for their entire lives or living there for the past few years maybe? (She was living and working there before deciding to go to law school there.) If the latter, my sister would be an excellent candidate. She's very well-spoken too, so. Yeah.

Just reading your entry kinda stressed me out. I'm also on a hella lot of cold medicine so it could be that as well. Who knows.

I hope you don't die. I just started getting to know you :D

i would have to finish my obligations to people first, or my soul wouldn't be able to rest. (please note that 'schoolwork' does not count as an 'obligation to someone')

have to consider oneself a 'DC'-er? (how does one say that?) and have lived in the metro area at least 1/3 of their life.

wow...that sounds really insane. And makes me really nervous for my upcoming semester. This semester is going to do some terrible things to me that I'd rather not think about. I'll probably leave this semester looking like a piece of raw hamburger meat. DDD : I kind of want to die. How cold is it back there? I want to start mentally preparing myself for the freezing.

i believe very firmly in your awesome. you will be fine. (and feel free to rant away if ever you need to, ne)

today it was kind of colder, because it's raining, but yesterday probably had a high of like, 68 or something ridiculous like that. no coat weather. Today i was glad of my coat--low fifties. so while i think it's getting colder, it's still well above freezing.

WHAT REALLY? In the 60's? That's absolutely insane. Watch. As soon as I get back, the weather will drop way down because it hates me.
