"Jinglish" is apparently an official linguistic term referring to: "kikokushijo's code-switch like behaviour, adding an extra vowel at the end of every English word in class in order to make it sound more like Japanese, while speaking fluent, native-like English in one-on-one conversation with English instructors outside the class" (Silver, 1993). No, really.
either that, or we have a closet fan, who wanted to use Jinglish in a published paper.
