got a free lunch today in the lx dept ^___^ there was a 'lx majors luncheon' for the undergraduates, so I stole a sandwich and some fruit. They never gave us food last year~ I'm making up for lost time!
I also talked to James-san (not the usual james, mind) for the first time ever in English; and talked to Rob for the first time just for fun.
Language partnering was fun today. She was going to be late, so she emailed me a 'kids news' article, with instructions to read it and be able to talk about it when she got there. I learned a lot, I think, and I didn't feel totally stupid, which I've been feeling lately, since a lot of what we've been doing lately is going through kanji I don't know.
nihongofrancais just called me to say she's looking to buy a certain sweater. ILU, nihongofrancais~ ♥
