Life is infinitely better today, because all the things I needed to do last night which were driving me crazy are either done, or it doesn't matter anymore.
though the white russian might be helping.
My roommate's ex-boyfriend cum friend-with-benefit came to stay this past weekend. He was flying out today.
They just came back--he missed his flight. So +150 dollars, and he's flying out tomorrow morning.
That's where the alcohol came from.
Talked to Rob this morning, and. Yes, i will have to recode what i've got so far, but everything else should be easier/smarter to do. Also, I don't absolutely need to transcribe my data set, which is awesome because it's not my native language and transcription already takes forever, and there is overlap like woah, and. Just, very happy.
Instead, he suggested I stick in time stamps every so often so I can go back and find things. This is just. yes. I am happy.
Curry ended up not happening till tonight, and it's pretty crappy at the moment, because I was planning on it for the whole rest of the week, so I put in a lot of water. Which meant that today (plus the extremely left-over rice), it was just not the best thing ever.
Oh well. Tomorrow it will be awesome.
And supposedly someone is coming to fix our cable connection on Friday. That would be totally awesome.
...I don't think I have anything due for tomorrow ('cept some reading that I'm not going to do) so. Maybe I will get a headstart on the reading for next monday/wednesday so yesterday doesn't happen again.
