staying over @ auntie's
Staying 2 days with Aunt Amy and Uncle Jackson while my Mom&co fly up to Canada instead. Since we're flying, there isn't really any reason to drag all of us (sooo much more expensive at this point in the game) and my sisters and I no longer felt guilty about leaving mom to deal with everyone by herself on a 27 hour car trip.
So we're just in Sacramento.
I'm so far behind on everything~

But I learned the word for "flash" yesterday at dinner. Maybe this way, if I can remember everything, i will learn chinese in 20 or 30 years. That's kind of exciting.
And the trip to LA (besides earning me a trip to Solvang, Danish capital of the World! or at least California) got me so that now I can tell Shantonese from Cantonese when i hear it. Even if I don't know what's being said.
Dinner two nights in a row at Nathan's; and then some boba at Tapioca Express next door.
Tonight we had some Chinese-inspired veggies (bok choi and sweet yellow and red peppers, stir fried), a roast, and Aunt Amy's special mashed potatoes. Usually she only cracks them out for Thanksgiving, but as she put it, we don't get out here for Thanksgiving dinner very often.
Ep 5 of Sapuri. I took screen-caps of the Tale of Little Red Riding Hood, as told by the Creative Ltd office. Because. I guess because they're all insane.
And now I'll go back to work. *whistles*
