THE LIST, REVISiTED
4) prepare a dish made with lamb
Bought pre-seasoned lamb at Trader Joe's, trimmed the fat, seared it in olive oil, then slow-cooked it in the crock-pot with onions and carrots. Results? Chewy, gamey, mediocre at best. I guess I'm just not a lamb fan. For my money, I'd rather splurge on a good Filet Mignon. So yeah, I probably won't be preparing any more baa-baa dishes in the near future.
13) bike 10 miles
Recumbent bike. Gym. But I cranked it, baby!

Thirteen months down, a little less than two years to go. I was really hoping to be at thirty-three percent by now, but I guess accomplishing a quarter of the items on my list within the first year is still pretty good (I'll be posting two more, with pics, tomorrow).
So....for the rest of you who tackled this with me, how's it goin'?
