My Eclipse review
Hey you!It's been a long time since my last post and I was wondering "what will I write about next?".Problem solved.
At night,on June 29th, I went to the Eclipse premiere here in my city with my friends. I gathered my Team Clearwater T-shirt(for both Leah and Seth,cause she rocks and I'm in love with Seth,lol),my "Imprinted" poster and my Totosinho(it's a mini hot dog we have here in Brazil). After fangirling out loud with loads of Twilight fans before the session started, the glorious moment arrived: time to watch it.
In this post, I'll tell you my thoughts on the Eclipse movie.I won't remember everything but let's try.
I liked the different beginning, showing Riley's story right away. It did spoil, but it was a great sequence, so I forgive the director lol.
My favorite scene was definitely "the talk".I can't believe they actually did it!It was my favorite part of the book and I feared they could cut it,but no,there it is! Yaaaaay!And even better than it was on the book!I love the movies' Charlie,he's hilarious!And his awkward way of trying to start the talk with Bella and then she understands and goes like "dad,I'm a virgin(thumbs up and awkward smile)"
It reminded me of WhattheBuck:"thumbs up,Kristen,thumbs up!" lol
Jessica's graduation speech was great!I loved it till the moment she started talking about choices.Then it hit me.You know,the movie made me see something I didn't while reading the book.I don't know,maybe because I could see Bella's moment with her mom and,for half of the movie, I was like "don't change,Bella,please don't leave them".But then she reminds us of how nothing else mattered when she lost Edward a year before and I was ok with the change again.
Speaking of them,Bella and Edward's scenes were great!Specially the bed one hehe.And seriously, he grabbed her butt twice during the movie!hahaha Oh,cause Edward is so pure and romantic...Yeah,sure.
Another hot couple was Alice/Jasper.Their fight scene was AMAZING!And so HOT!Actually,the whole training sequence was perfect!Emmett and Carlisle were still great,Esme at least got a line,but Rose...Her hair looks more natural,better,but her dark eyebrows make her look like a horse.Though I did love her "furious bride" moment mwahaha.
Seth,my Seth...He was so cute!But also there were so few scenes of him and most part of them was in his wolf form and this looked so weird,the wolf looked more like a abandoned dog.But it's ok,I'll give him food,a house and love lol.Leah was too agressive.She was supposed to be bitter,not just plain agressive like she was on the movie.I hope they fix this on Breaking Dawn.I still think Michelle Rodriguez is the perfect Leah.
I miss Rachelle!Bryce is not bad,but Rachelle was perfect!And Bryce's eyes are too big and ithey get weird onscreen with the lenses.But who cares about her when she's got Riley by her side?Argh,Riley was so hot!He was amazing,gorgeous,perfect!I'm pretty sure Seth got rid of him cause he was jealous I would leave him for Rils.Don't worry,love,you're still my number 1 from the Twilight Saga ;)
I happydanced again when Bella punched Jacob,haha!Well done!The stinky wet dog deserved that(sorry Jake lovers,but he just gets on my nerves on this third part of the Saga)!But then...poor Bella.Poor wrist,poor hand.lol!And Edward kissing Bella in front of Jake was priceless!In your face,wolfy!
I thought they would play the tent scene hotter,but,anyway...I guess Team Jacob's fans got really pissed with that.Unlike the slashers.Edward and Jacob's moment was gay.My opinion.Cute and all,but spilling the slashy tension all over the small tent hahaha
Last but no least,the soundtrack was great,KikiStew was shiny as usual cause she simply rocks and where the hell is my mother-in-law?I didn't see Sue Clearwater and I'm sure she was casted!But,anyway,the movie was good,great,perfect,if you allow me.
