Boardwalk Empire
Spoilers for last Sunday's finale.
Okay, so I know you could see it coming a mile away. I've been very, very worried about Jimmy for a while now, and just... I knew he was doomed, especially after that Princeton flashback episode, but... BUT. Did he really have to go like that?! T__T
I don't know, I guess I'm on the fence about it in the end. I'm really happy about the flashbacks and the backstory we got, and I'm really happy that at the very least he kind of got his affairs in order before he went, and I guess I'm also glad that he went out knowing what was coming, as opposed to in an ambush or a blaze of gunfire. I don't know. I like that he walked into that situation unarmed, and that he knew what was coming, and accepted it. I LOVE that he was honest with Nucky for once before it all went down too (I think that scene with Nucky at Jimmy's house may have been one of my favorite scenes of the entire series, really), and I also really loved that for his part, he tried to make things right before the end.
But I will miss him terribly, and I really don't know if I want to watch the next season without him. T____T Not just because Michael Pitt won't be on screen (okay, yeah, I've had a bit of a thing for him since Hedwig <3) but because... Well, this now means I'll have to watch a main character that I've kind of completely lost all respect for? I don't know. Nucky has always been pretty unlikeable at times, but I just don't think I can forgive him for this. ;__;
It's funny, after it ended, I ranted for a good 10-15 minutes, and Jeremy's like, "You're really angry, aren't you. You're angry at Nucky Thompson - that's funny." AND I AM. I REALLY AM. GAH. I understood Jimmy's betrayal, and I never really hated him for it. But Nucky, I just... ARGH. He's a murderer! GAH. (And I know, I know, so is Jimmy, but... BUT. I kind of like Jimmy's ruthless side? XD;;)

Um, yes. Those are my feelings at the moment. Kind of funny, because I really didn't think I HAD feelings for this show!! T_____T
Those of you who watch it though... Thoughts? Reactions? Will you watch season 3? ;)
(And random, but lately, people have been just NOT been doing well in the shows I'm watching. There's Supernatural (T__T), and then I'm watching this J-drama, Nankyouku Tairiku, and the last episode of that made me sob my eyes out. ARGH. And Penguindrum. Yeah. At least I'm pretty sure no one's headed out in SekaKoi - that's a safe one for people not DYING at least. Geez. :P)
