(no subject)
so, I haven't posted in a while. Kinda difficult when you have no internet connection readily available, but whatever.
But now I have the interweb in my room and must post, or something.
I have a love/hate relationship with my language. I really enjoy learning it, but two of the teachers' teaching styles rub me the wrong way and one of them is my assigned councelor. I can now talk about my family, hometown, what I'm doing this weekend, where things are, etc in Korean. I've learned one of the ways to make things present or past tense, which is better than I did with my other languages I took as a civilian. I'm doing alright grade wise, I need to be doing better just for my own satisfaction.
I got voluntold to be on our company soccer team, which in and of itself isn't a bad thing, however I haven't played soccer in 12 years, so thursday when I showed up at practice and we had to scrimmage another company I was way out of my element. Our CO and XO were playing, the other company's CO and I think their 1st Sgt were playing. The opposing CO bowled me over as I was trying to steal the ball from him...but it's all good.
I have a new roommate, I moved down the hall thus losing my internet until I could get it hooked up here. I like her. She's in the same class as me, but a different department. We both graduated FLW the same day, different companies and she's just fun.
