Happy birthday, John!
Today is John Rhys-Davies' 64th birthday.
He's one of my favourite actors for many years, since I saw him as Sallah in Indiana Jones. I loved him as Prof. Arturo in Sliders and of course as Gimli. (And we put a big cloak of silence over all the crappy movies he has made .. though it doesn't make any difference to me, I'm watching them nonetheless.. ;) ) I was lucky to meet him in person at Ring*Con and was thrilled by his charm, eloquence and friendliness towards the fans. And I'm looking forward to meeting him again at this year's Ring*Con and being tickled once again (those who were at the photo session, know what I'm talking about..).. ;D
