I went to the presentation of the translation of Ian McEwan's book Saturday. The presentation this woman from the British Council (Spanish-speaking) did was boring, and she was worse than me when it came to ranting... Today I was told that an old friend of my mum's is who is taking us, not only to Mérida, but also to Choroní. My mum met this guy ages ago, when they used to work as telephonists for CANTV (the national phone company in Venezuela).
