I called the hairdresser earlier today to speak to the manager about the sad state of my head, and she just called me back.

I told her what happened, and she was appropriately horrified.

Today, I have a repeat of that.

You know, I really didn't expect her to make me look like Mariska Hargitay. I didn't even expect her to make me prettier.

Anyhoo.

We started off the day yesterday getting our summer haircuts--and I was grateful for that, because being shorn boy-short again (I think that at this point my hair is shorter than Paul's) made the rest of the day much more pleasant than it might have been, considering the heat and the activity.
