I have too much to do to be sitting here....
...but here I sit nevertheless.
I'm feeling more than a little grumpy at the prospect of the DH working both today and tomorrow, but we both took the day off for the inauguration, so I'm thinking that will be our REAL New Year's celebration.
In the meantime, I'm resentful of anything that takes him away from me for any substantial length of time, especially if it's a holiday time. So I'm feeling sorry for myself in a rather grandiose style.
It's snowing out there now...I was going to go out and re-staple the lights to the pergola, but with the wind and snow...not so much.
I still have to go to the market, but it might be just a flying run rather than anything substantial...iced tea, ketchup, milk, and something that goes with leftover ham. Sweet potatoes? No--alfredo with ham and peas.
A shower first. And finishing my cocoa.
Much to do? Maybe not.
