It's been raining for nine days.

The novelty is most definitely wearing off.

I'm growing moss on my north side, and the yards look like jungles. What's worse is that trees are now starting to come down, since the roots are sunk in very soupy mud.

So yeah, it snowed early early this morning, and it's supposed to snow again this afternoon, and then turn to freezing sludge overnight--and yeah, that completely doesn't work for me but oh well. It's a positively balmy morning, at 56F a full 40 degrees warmer than two days ago, and drizzly. A warm front has banished both the cold and the dry air, and I have to say that, for all the gray and damp, it's a bit of a relief to be released from the bitter cold and bluster.
