I'm beginning to see a pattern here, in fact. I'm pretty much getting what this is all about, and what I'm supposed to do with it. And I suppose that, if I wasn't so stubborn, the lesson would be a bit easier. I may not be seeing the the lesson in all its nuance, exactly, but I'm getting a message here. And I think that if I go with it, I'm pretty safe.
Sometimes you come across a riptide, you know? And if you fight the riptide, you're going to drown. But if you follow it down the shore, and wait until it puts you on the beach, you are safe.
It's going to be OK, because I'm letting the riptide take me where I'm supposed to go. My job is to hold my head above the water and keep my eyes open, and wait to feel the force of the tide push me towards shore.
Where I'll end up, who knows? All I know is that it'll be where I'm supposed to be.
