I really like the stuff that comes into my inbox from Neale Donald Walsh. I do.
But he do make me twitch sometimes.
Today's message?
"On this day of your life, dear friend, I believe God wants you to know...
....that there is a solution to every problem.
Nothing is insoluable. Nothing. Do everything that you
can to avoid the temptation of thinking that what is
facing you now is insurmountable. That is simply not true.
You cannot see the solution, of course, if you are
convinced it is not there. So you must have great faith
in life. Do you have great faith in life? Now would be a
good time to show it. Smile. Relax. It'll all be okay.
You will not have to think more than a second to
know exactly why you received this message today.
Love, Your Friend....
Neale"
Considering the events of the last few days, this is just...
Yeah. OK.
And he's right, of course. One cannot lay claim to an attitude of true optimism without having that optimism challenged from time to time. One cannot say that one believes in the ultimate benevolence of life, or that one is pronoiacally inclined to trust the fact that the world is conspiring to do one good if one is not able to face a setback without collapsing into a wittering heap of black jello at the first bump in the road.
I am powerful. I am safe. I am not a victim of life, but a co-conspirator with life to heap blessings on myself and all I love.
There is nothing I can't survive--beautifully, and with the utmost grace.
All is well.
pronoia,
blessings,
everything's alright
