Well, that was unexpected....
Yesterday, I was waxing rhapsodic about the good old days of rock radio, and I mentioned the name of one DJ who has been described as "The King of Philadelphia Radio"--and not without reason. He was without question the most well-known of all the Philly DJ's, and one with whom everyone was familiar.
Often known as "Hyski O’Roonie McVoutie O’Zoot", Hy Lit was the voice of the Delaware Valley for years.
Today, Hyski's son, samlit showed up on my last post and introduced himself.
