A sad truth is that after having gone through Art Center (bfa) and USC School of Fine Arts (mfa) for five years straight with only 3 days off in between my two programs, there isn't a lot of art out there that I really genuinely feel anything for.

But I saw this picture of a painting on a blog I read today, and well, I like this quite a lot.

Most everyone knows now that I'm almost out of there. Many have come up to me and expressed sadness that I'm leaving, so I tell them that I will miss them. But in most cases, during this conversation they admit that my opportunity will be good for me, that I'm making the right choice.
