Well, tuition went up again, I realize its a state thing but what the fuck. In theory, when a consumer pays progressivly more over a period of time they are usually compensated with a quality product, at the very least a special offer or gift. Why is it then that the average FAU student has such a difficult time graduating within the standard 4 years? Ineffectively prolonging our stay by not offering corses when they say they will..etc. My major beef is in the Art Dept. Im paying more money and the quality is deteriorating. Most art classes are only offered twice a semester, which means if Im not already enrolled in a class at those times I have two choices to choose from, that is if I register before there filled in the first five minutes of being posted.
You see, maybe Im too logical or something, but if I was getting paid the big bucks to be an administrator and policy maker, I would see this and go, "wow, we should probally try to resolve this by maybe offering more classes, or perhaps analyzing the cirriculum in accordance with the availabilty and design a schedule that accomodates the individuals we are getting paid to accomodate. However, when an institution is reluctant to hire more staff because their too busy investing in elements to that make the school more attractive to more people who bring in more money, I have a problem putting myself into debt without any retribution. So, if this pisses anyone off as much as it pisses me off and they would like to collaborate and do somethingm, please let me know.
Aside from that, life is good, god is great and jesus loves me.
