....huh? You don't have a shot glass, or you don't have one of our favors? If the latter, you GOT one, so I cannot speak to what happened since. :)
(they're not *exactly* "shot glasses," but that's the simplest description - I'm not 100% sure WHAT they are, to tell you the truth, but they're shaped and designed like tiny wine glasses [cut crystal with a small round-ish bowl and a stem and base] that will hold roughly a shot. At the wedding they were filled with the traditional Italian Jordan almonds, but those were removable for later.)
In the future, maybe you should hide the soup spoons before people come over. :) (More seriously, I would personally be rather annoyed if people damaged my flatware that way. But I don't class myself as "normal" in my reactions.) ....you could also bend the spoons back, I suppose.
if it helps, we also own a fancy ice cream scooper, the kind where you can slide a little bar across to dislodge the scoop from the bowl. I greatly prefer it.
An ice cream scoop is actually one of the two kitchen implements in the known universe that we don't have. The other is a melon baller. We have had both of these at some point in my life, but now is not that time.
We mainly just use spoons, but our freezer is crap so it works out okay. :) (And if for some reason the spoon bends, I at least have the decency to bend it back before chucking it in the dishwater. :P)
