My work is not interesting me, and writing fic isn't working for me either. Therefore, I ponder a very important question - which characters would I want on my side if I was living in a zombie-infested world?
Conclusion:
1. Teyla (SGA) - Teyla's attitude towards zombies would be 'Bitch, please.' She's lived in a galaxy infested with Wraith!

So 1 and 2 are Wash and Zoe. Wash for basically your reasons above. Zoe because she's just so damned reliable and good at the fighting. The two of them to serve as reminder of happy sappy better times.
3 is River, cos she fights damned well and her psychic powers could probably warn of approaching Zombies.
4 is possibly not valid cos I don't like the show nor do I much like the character but Piper Halliwell. I just really like the idea of her making the zombie explode (yes I am very very sick). Also she can cook really well and she can make herbal and magical medicines so she can do some first aid stuff. Also, if she brings the book, which since I'm making this up she just will for whatever reason, it'll probably hold some wacky spell for getting rid of Zombie. Add into that the fact that she'll be desperate to get back to her kids and her Leo, she'll be a very determined fighter I think.
5. Alec from Dark Angel. Transgenic fighting skills. Is very very nummy.
6. Samantha Carter cos I want a scientist/technical type.
7. Dunno. Some sort of eye candy for me to gaze longingly at. But I don't know who. I did wonder about an out and out alien because they may be immune to whatever it is that is causing the zombification. And I did have half a mind to choose Cillian Murphy from 28 days later cos he's pretty... or Spike for the same reason... but I don't know.
It's a tough one.

I think that #4 is totally valid! Hell, determined fighter and zombie explosions (zomblosions) = awesome!
Eye candy is a very important part of the zombie apocalypse survival strategy! I picked Lorne (also, he's very good at his job).

I just think my purely there for eyecandy should have something more than just being pretty going for him... which is where the "um..." comes in.
you set very hard questions. :D

Deep, philosophical questions *g*
"Jaynes fear of reavers might be transmitted to fear of reavers" which makes no sense. Should be zombies.
I read it as zombies!
