Very important fandom question!
My work is not interesting me, and writing fic isn't working for me either. Therefore, I ponder a very important question - which characters would I want on my side if I was living in a zombie-infested world?
Conclusion:
1. Teyla (SGA) - Teyla's attitude towards zombies would be 'Bitch, please.' She's lived in a galaxy infested with Wraith! Zombies are a walk in the park, and she's taking them down while she goes on that stroll.
2. Wash (Firefly) - If there's one thing you need in a zombie-infested world (other than mobility and some head-chopping weapons), it's the ability to laugh at the world around you. For stress relief. Wash would totally bring the witty repartee to any situation.
3. Major Lorne (SGA) - Efficient and precise. What more could I want? Also, hot.
4. Dr. Simon Tam (Firefly) - For doctorly purposes. And maybe he could figure out what's causing the spread of zombification and work on a vaccine or something to contain it.
5. Col. Samantha Carter (SG-1) - Not only is Carter a good strategist, she'd figure out a handy way to widely and quickly distribute Simon's vaccine/containment solution.
6. Kurdy (Jeremiah) - I suspect that Kurdy and Wash would get along really well, and Kurdy has years of experience living in a post-apocalyptic world. He's got the awesome practical survival skills that the others (other than Teyla, probably) are perhaps more familiar with in theoretical terms.
7. Jordan (Real Genius) - Jordan has those crazy, manic creating-things skills. Sure, Carter is a genius, but I think that Jordan's manic tendencies could mean that she could come up with some really crazy ideas in really tight situations - ideas that would work. She and Carter would make an awesome team, playing off each other's strengths.
(There are others, of course, but really let's face it - traveling in smallish groups is more efficient in the event of global zombification. A big group would be awkward and more easily spotted by the ravenous zombie hordes! Therefore, I shall stop now).
What about you? What five-seven fandom characters would you want on your 'Zombies Won't be Eating Me' team? I simply must know!
