Haha, the main character is cute. I'm still not really into sports anime, but it's cute. I'll watch a bit more. Still, the premise is basically like Eyeshield 21. A lame-o boring wimp is discovered to have developed amazing sports potential by doing just their everyday routine things and are "transformed" as they enter high school. That's some heavy wish fulfillment there.
Log Horizon
Not bad, but the tone switch is not done well, between serious "we're suddenly stuck in a video game!" and silly "all food tastes like soggy biscuits!" The epic music that just kind of faded out was a pretty bad spot. And the monologues, as always, were not... good. But it's the first episode, and it might get better. It's kind of cute in its lameness.
Strike to Blood
Now here is an even better example of messed up tonal inconsistency. Also, the stupid panty shot obsession. And girls being intolerable shrews. Himeragi is better than ... every girl in Infinite Stratos, but still annoying. The damn panty shot in the middle of nothing, taken seriously and played for full "drama". My god. Look, you stupid brat, just wear shorts. Why do you even care so much? Is this supposed to be cute, that you're a professional demon hunter and yet you panic over a guy seeing your underwear? Even beyond that, the pacing was all over the place. You can also tell this comes from a light novel by the heavy bizarre setup that takes monologue upon monologue to explain. It's like To Aru Majutsu no Index, but with vampires instead of espers. (Index was better. Much better.)
(No, seriously, what is this panty shot nonsense about? You see a girls underwear and you're bound to marry her? Can't you think of a better way to introduce to characters to each other? Isn't there some other way to designate a romantic interest?)
If the second episode is as painful as the first, I'm seriously gonna give up on this.
Walkure Romanze
Wait, so guys can be knights, but we never see any? What the fffff.... Also, I still don't get what this "stand in for boyfriend" term means. Why are all the girls proposing to him? What do they want?
