I've known for a long time that when my grandfather was at university (studying English and Math!), he wrote a letter to C.S. Lewis, and Lewis responded. What I didn't know until recently was that that letter? WAS THROWN AWAY by my grandmother.

Sometimes being a packrat is actually a good thing.

In other news, playing with calendars (and kalendars) is great fun. *plots*
