1. Ohayou, Tokyo
Tokyo, Winter 2015. This is the story of journey, about two people that are not searching, but finding. _Sho_
As I step down of the airplane I feel the cold of Narita Airport floor and smile widely. I take a taxi to my hotel. Well, I am not planning to sleep nor rest, I've plan I'd like to take a walk in my hometown country.
My first destination is, of course, Tokyo Tower. Yeah, how I missed this place. Fortunately, I book a hotel near the Tower, so I just need to take a walk to go there. I decide to buy a cup of hot coffee, well, to warm me up. And sit in one kind of bench in the park. In here, I can see fully the tall red building. I see the surrounding, it's like everything has change and it looks new in my eyes.
I take out my phone and opening my Line. Just to inform my 2 best friend, Satoshi and Jun.
Sho : Guys, I'm in Tokyo right now..
Satoshi : Too bad, Satoshi and I were leaving Japan 3 days ago, we went to Maldives, honeymoon, you know -Kazu-
Jun: Too bad too, Sho. I am in the midle of my holiday in Hawai. It's summer here..
Sho : OH yeah, too bad. And congrats to you, Kazu -.-. And enjoy your holiday, Jun.
Jun : But I think, Masaki is in Tokyo, right now. I mean, look at his Line. It said Tokyo Runaway. He is probably in Tokyo.
Satoshi : Masaki is in Tokyo, he'll be the main model for this year Tokyo Runaway. -Kazu-
Sho : Masaki?
Satoshi : Yeah, don't you remember? Masaki, Aiba Masaki, your ex, back in the high school days. -Kazu-
I left domfounded, I even can not reply to any massages from them. I decide to search Masaki's Line. It suprises me he had a banner said Tokyo Runaway as his cover and him with a towel of Tokyo Runaway for his profile picture.
From my place, I take a photo of Tokyo Tower and send that photo to Masaki. Yeah, I decided to tell him. As I wait for his reply I decide to enjoy the scenery that I missed so much. Suddenly, I hear my phone buzz and found a new Line Massage from Masaki.
Masaki : Sho! Are you in Tokyo? Why? For what?
Sho : Yeah, Holiday, and you know, I miss Japan. Sooo much.
Masaki : Oh yeah? With this kind of timing? Or are you just with your calculation? Or maybe, you know, I have a runaway so you decided to go here. Are you that desparate to meet me?
Sho : Hahaha... You with your airhead.
Sho : Can we meet up?
I wait for Masaki at the entrace of the park, trying to figure out how Masaki is in real life. I nervously play with my phone. Just maybe, Masaki inform me or just send me a mere of massage.
Few times I look at my wrist. When will he come? Then, in this crowd I heard a familiar footstep. I turn my head and I found him, my ex. Walking steadly with two cups of coffee in his hand.
"Here," he hand me, one of the cup which I gladly take.
"Black coffee, less sugar," Masaki said.
I smile at him and gave him a friendly hug, well, he gladly accept and hug me too.
"Owh, you still remember my favorite coffee," i said when i loosen our hug.
With his genuine smile, he replyed "Of course I remember,"
We take a walk together to circling the park. "How are you?" I ask him as the opening of our talk, today.
"Then, Sho, What are you doing in here?"
"As I said, just a few days holiday, how 'bout you?"
"Work, you know, I just come from New York for fashion show last week, and here I am,"
"Tokyo Runaway, isn't it? Wow! Isn't it amazing? Then, when it'll be held?"
"The runaway was 2 days ago. You late to watch my walk,"
"Then, Why are you still in Tokyo? I know, after this, you need to go to somewhere else, right?"
"I still have a few jobs for magazine, or yeah, something like that," he said as he sipped his coffee.
"Sasuga, World class Model. As busy as always. But its your dream, right?"
"Yeah, my dream. And I heard your bussiness is going well, too. Your company make a lot of branch and merging,"
"Ma, it's like that. That was my job, though. But yeah I need to enjoy every moment that I have," he gave me a simple gigling, of course with his shy smile.
Silence built between us, we enjoy our coffee and the scenery right around us. Then, he look at me with his eye smile.
"What?"
"I just want to know, what happen with your lovely car?" he suddenly said about my car back in my high school days.
"That? I sold it. I think it was just before I went to London,"
"You sold it? I thought you never leave that car, I even tought you take that car to London,"
"Are you kidding me? Heck, I found a new fancy car there instead bringing that old car,"
"Hahaha. I know. But, did you remember, in the night, when we went for a date, the engine are exploded. In the heavy rain?"
"Of course I remember. It was crazy, right? That's why I sold it,"
And what I got for answer just laugh for him. Laugh that I always enjoyed and never get bored of it.
"Then, when your plane landed?"
"This morning. As big as I miss this country, I take a walk instead of sleeping all day long on my hotel room,"
"Want to grab something?"
I nod as the answer, and we leave the park, going to some kind of cafe, he lead me, of course. I don't even know the road. But before we go to cafe he point out his favorite bakery.
"Sho, this have been my favorite bakery. Want to try?"
"Sure. Bread for breakfast isn't that bad,"
The smells of bakery entered mine. Oh my, I feel hungry.
"What do you want?"
"Hmm, Let's just grab sandwich," I said as I take a chicken sandwich.
"Chicken? I want it too," Masaki take another chicken sandwich.
I payed the sandwich before we go out.
"Where we'll go?" Masaki point out a river side that have a bench.
"Alright, here, let me bring that sandwich," I take the plastic bag from his hand.
"Sho, I just realize, you didn't wear any gloves,"
"I forgot about it,"
"Oh my God. Here, use it," he take of his gloves and hand it to me.
"How about you?" I asked as I wear his gloves.
"Im fine. It's usual for me. I just tugged my hand on my jacket, and it will be warm again,"
Masaki walk first, leave me behind, but few steps after it, he turn around and make a gesture to call me to catch up with his pace.
Masaki, Thanks for the warm that you give to me. In one cup of coffee, in a pair of gloves and a simple thing, name SMILE. _Sakurai Sho_
Hello i'm back...
this fic is based on Line mini drama. And cause i found it so sweet i decided to do it with my version. Its series, 6-7 chap i think. But, dont worry, i have write it all done and its on luna's hand. SO it will not left unfinish!!
i am pretty busy right now. if you know what Arashi do in TV, mostly Sho, pretty much i do the same, its just i am on the back not in the front. So, i dont know if i can keep my writing pace. But i hope i still can write more (after all, i do want a fanfic too, not only news)
