Was I out of my head or was I out of my mind?
Hello all, Its a crappy day outside but a well needed rain so I decided to update out of boredom so ready? set? Cucumber!!?
So I have been in school for a little over a week now and all in all I can't complain. I like the classes I'm in so here's a brief overview of it
Geometry
This class is my first period class and well just that, So far its pretty easy and has nothing really going for it because I sit near Jamie Michaels, Kayla Harmon, and Karlie Miller (people who actually know who these people will understand why) and I honestly want to kill myself seriously if I hear one more story about how karlie and her boyfriend fucked in the pool over the summer I'm going slit someones' writs
Independent Study
This class is actually pretty cool because I'm on my own no real structure except for what I say I want it to be. I'm learning all the ins and outs of photoshop CS2 and maybe some video programs I still have yet to decide on that. Only 3 people are doing it so its a really good experience to work with people who actually want to get work done and make it fun at the same time
Band
So if you know me in any way you know how much I love this class and what goes on during it. I have really grown to looking forward to this class every morning because it wakes me up and its a fun class. This is one class where people can recognize you not for your super smarts but how well you can play. One kid coming out of the 2nd period which is Junior High looked at me and said "yeah drumline" I have never seen this kid ever in my life but he knew what I played and that I was somewhat talented. Things like that make me want to be even better so people from other schools know who I am.
English
This class is pretty fun because its only like 18 people and some good friends of mine are in it. Bad thing is though the teacher already thinks I'm bad news just because my one friend and myself like to have fun and so we throw our 2 cents after like every thing said and it can get bad at times. Like saying how we wanted to sign up for the New Castle Reading competition and be team Spark Notes and print the notes from each book on our shirts. She got ticked nonetheless
World Cultures
This class is with our athletic director and he has had the same work plan since like when he got here I swear. Ironically I already have a C in there because of a really hard quiz that I didn't study for <.< but I'm not the only one. This class is fucking packed and in some of his other classes he only has like 15 people and I have 35 kids in one fucking room its like 95 degrees in there everyday its downright hell. So all in all its not to bad because we can get off topic because he makes fun of women and half the time they have no idea what is going on and all the guys are laughing.
Chemistry
Yeah this class is going to surprise sex me (because I don't believe in rape its only surprise sex) and the fact that the same few kids in my english class are in here we are going to get into some interesting trouble. But she likes people who run track or XC so I might get on her good side.
Unified Block: Family Living
This class is the worst one of the day for me because it pretty much states that we all suck at relationships and here is why. Why would you want to teach how to be a good husband/wife boyfriend/girlfriend it baffles me how you can teach that. I believe you cannot be taught how to act like on, its something you have gain from failures and achievements and even disappointments. We as teenagers don't need to be told that we aren't ready to get married well no shit I don't think anyone in my grade wants to but we would still like to date or what have you. Sure we have our good relationships and we have bad ones currently I am still thinking out everything that I have been feeling and this class makes me want to prove her wrong that high school relationships can work out in the end.
Cal-U
This is the last period of the day and its awesome so far. Its pretty much all of Microsoft Office in one year and I get 3 college credits and its weighted 1.25. The class has like 9 people and the seniors are the douche bags of their class You know the type, the ones that feel so superior for doing stupid shit and chances are they will be going nowhere in college. Ohh did I mention that most of them do drugs? That would help to
Well thats my day in a nutshell, its not a bad schedule but it could be better, and what they consist of.
