Firefly second part of "From Start to Finish"
Rayne
Okay, so I wrote this little bit when I was still going to have it be in the same chapter/story/whatever with
The Start, so I'm going to have to fix it. Oh! *growls* And I actually had a lot more written, but my computer screwed up before I could save it so I lost it all. *sobs* I hate the computer box sometimes... Right! But the story. I plan to finish this today.
So he pulled her up into his arms and dragged her back into his bunk. As soon as the hatch closed, she jumped down and slapped him right across the face.
"What?! Girl, what the hell was that for?"
She bared her teeth and glared. "You! Infuriating, daring - putting... feelings, wants, desires where they have no place to be! I do not like you. But warm and hard and so, so much - that I want it, I need it, and..." She looked up at him with wild eyes, passion burning like fire behind them. "You will help me end this, Jayne Cobb, or I will - "
"End, yeah. Yeah, we're 'bout to... right now." He gave her a hungry look and said, "C'mere, baby girl. Hit me."
And she attacked.
Her fist swung out towards his face; it caught solidly on his jaw and he felt a sudden burst of hot pain feathering out around the point of contact. He kicked, right at her knees, and she jumped up to avoid his leg, before landing in a crouch. He loved fighting with her - loved fighting with her - but he couldn't be patient much longer. So when she launched her second strike, he grabbed a handful of her hair and kissed her again.
She responded viciously, mouth opening under his, grabbing handfuls of his shirt, hooking one foot behind his knee and tugging so he fell to the ground. And he knelt before her, wrapping one arm around her middle. She grabbed the back of his head and tilted it up, pulling hard on what hair she'd managed to get a grip on. He growled and used the arm around her to flip her onto her stomach. She yelped and rolled over quickly, but not before he'd dived on top of her, a knee on either side of her hips.
"Gotcha now," he sneered. Pinning her arms down at the wrists, he leaned closer. He'd planned to kiss her, but she turned her head every time he got too close, refusing to allow any contact between their mouths.
Jayne growled and let one arm go, grabbing hold of her chin and keeping her head still. Her free arm quickly flung itself to his waistband and grabbed hold, her knuckles scraping skin as her fingers slipped under it. She struggled beneath him, trying to loosen the grip he had on her chin.
“You better lemme kiss you, li’l girl,” he growled, scraping his cheek against hers.
“No,” she whispered. “Kissing is not part of your repertoire. You must work to earn that right.”
He tried again, but she leaned her head up. Refusing to let her have even that small victory, he instead turned his attention to her neck, tracing from her shoulder to her ear with the tip of his nose before tracing the same path with his tongue. She moaned and he felt her throat vibrate under his mouth, a soft buzzing that made him ache with the need to keep her making that sound.
River’s legs were starting to wriggle, and he tightened the grip his knees had on her. Her hand had worked its way under his shirt and she traced large, swirling circles on his back. He let go of her chin and snuck his hand under her head, yanking her hair. “Did I say you could touch me?”
“It’s what you want,” she moaned. “I feel it pouring out of you.” Her body turned a little and she let one knee travel up his thigh. “You want it so badly - that I want it, too.”
He took in a deep breath and pulled harder on her hair. She whimpered a little and arched her back. When her chest pressed full against his, the tenuous hold he had snapped and he pushed her face up as hard as he could towards his. She pulled his bottom lip between her teeth, tracing it with her little tongue. He pushed his hips into hers, and suddenly they both stilled at how suddenly good that felt.
“Okay,” he said, thoughts dripping from his brain like water. "I'm done fightin'."

Blahr. But yeah. I plan to get this completed after my last class (which I should be studying for!!! Curse you Tennessee Williams... And your Streetcar, too. Heh.)
