Ah another too busy day at work thanks to even more cold weather and another layer (predicted 6 inches this time) of snow to go on top of the stuff we already have.  I am still baffled at peoples behaviour when the word snow is barely whispered.  One would think that by now everybody should be used to the amount of snow we have gotten that another ( Read more... )

It isn't officially here yet, but fall is in the air.  The weather is absolutely perfect in every way plus most of the leaves are starting to change colour.  There are even a few trees that are dropping their leaves already.  Usually, we have at least a couple more weeks of hot and muggy summer temperatures, but not this year.  It is really making ( Read more... )

Today is proving to be one of those "what the hell is wrong with everybody" sort of day.  We had one heck of a storm last night and maybe all the lightning we had fried what little brain cells that most people have left.

The first thunderstorm of the season was approaching as she walked along the shore of her lake.  The air was still, yet heavy with the promise of rain. Not a creature stirred knowing of the impending downpour.

It did it, it finally snowed! Well, maybe not enough for my liking, but enough to say that it did. Alas, it stopped too soon, so we didn't get any accumulation.
