Day 14 - Favorite male character
The Middleman - Hi, MM. I love you. &hearts _ &hearts
He's a two-fisted action hero who never swears, likes ducks and puppy dogs and milk, and watches over the world to make sure it's protected from evil aliens and mad scientists who want to wreak havoc. Who also happens to have upper arms as big as his costar's head, and a pretty badass parallel universe alter ego (which leads to a twist in the never-produced 13th episode, which was revealed in the comic version). He's hilarious. He thinks coffee's a drug. He's a feminist, in his own quiet way: super-supportive of his apprentice, even when she makes mistakes, but doesn't treat her special because she's a girl. He prefers to negotiate peace, but isn't above punching out a baddie and his goon squad. And oh, he looks like that (points to icon and video clip). What's not to love?
I still think ABC Family's lack of promotion cheated Matt Keeslar out of a well-deserved Emmy nod. He was easily more deserving than Charlie Sheen, that's for darn sure.
