The summer of 2007 did a pretty good job of kicking my ass.  The summer of 2008 has followed suit - I'm not quite sure if it was worse or better.  Probably worse, but since I'm feeling relatively optimistic at the moment, it's not so bad.  However, I am ready for the season to end and I'm also putting the summer of 2009 on notice that it better not ( Read more... )

There's something up with the planetary alignment this week, because so far it hasn't been good.

It started Sunday night when DH came home from his Reserves weekend. He told me that they had been informed that 20-25% of the Navy Reserves who hadn't been called up since 9-11 will be deployed this year. ( More whining inside... )
