The boys (all of them) are out camping this weekend.  They left last night, and are supposed to return tomorrow morning.  Although, I'm pretty sure Mother Nature is going to put an end to the festivities early this afternoon.  Of course not only are strong thunderstorms forecast, but now we are under a tornado watch.  I just put in a call to the ( Read more... )

Today, as a change of pace, I stayed late at work while DH left early to get the kids.  He had finished up what he needed to get done, but I was still chugging through my to-do pile.  It was very nice, especially when he called me with the youngest crying in the background to ask what time I was coming home.

I am motivated this morning.  I have two(!) fics in progress at the moment, and I actually want to spend the next hour or so working on them.  Last November I said that I wanted to have the Christmas entry of Lady Jaye's journal up by Christmas.  It was a stretch at that point, since I had about nine chapters to write.  Well, here it is a year ( Read more... )
