I GOT WHAT I WANTED TODAY!
Kind of.
My ex Marc is having mega problems with his ex/future baby mama/whatever, so we went to the GMan for some hours to sit, drink, and talk like we used to do.
Unfortunately, boyfriends are usually so weirded out that I hang out with my ex, especially one that I have a messy history with, and I've scared away two of them because of that...but I figure if they're not mature enough to understand that we're just really good friends because we understand each other so well and they want to make a big deal out of it, then ciao. Friends before mens. It's not like we flirt or anything. It's more of a brother/sister thing.
Fortunately, Joe gets it. I think. He said he was weirded out (understandably) but he didn't yell or make me feel like a bad person, and I appreciate that.
The important thing is that I got OUT and I had some drinks and got a little tipsy and got some good laughs out of me. And I got to sing in my car loud and obnoxiously and had company. It's what I needed.
