Abigail's arm...
I got a call this afternoon from Abigail's school saying she'd fallen down on the playground and hurt her arm. They said it was swelling up, so I knew it was broken... got down there, she was still sobbing inconsolably and in a lot of pain. The school gave me some insurance papers, said they'd cover everything, and I called Joseph and headed for the emergency room...
She broke both the radius and ulna in her forearm about 20 degrees.
The doctor set the bones, the post-reduction x-ray showed about an 8 degree deviation, but he thinks it will straighten out fine. She has a splint on now, but I have to take her in to get a cast next week. She's doing pretty well, she's on ibuprofen and tylenol 3 for the pain. Joseph and I took her for ice cream after we were done, and now she's watching tv on the couch.
