I had COMPLETELY forgotten about this happening. I still don't know how it happened, or why.

man, the weirdest thing just happened. the phone rang, and it did the funny three-ring ring which means that it's a long-distance call, and it was about 3am, so i thought maybe it was tif, calling to say she'd made it to cali. i answered it, and the connection clicked off. so i thought maybe she was on a cell phone, and it had died. i did *69 and got the number, which was a 970 number. i didn't recognize it, so i grabbed a calling card and decided to call it back. this guy answered, and for a second i thought it was san, so i said "san?" and the guy said, "uhh, no", heheh. so then i asked who this was, and HE asked who this was, and i said amy, and he said tyler, and i told him i'd just gotten a phone call from the number i just reached him at. so he was all, "i didn't make any phone calls! i only just FOUND my phone when it rang!" and i told him i was in oregon, and he said he didn't even HAVE long distance on his phone. so i asked where he was, and he said colorado, which is where my uncle and his kids - one of them named tyler, happen to reside. so i asked if his name was tyler short, and he said yeah, then asked how the HELL i knew his last name, HEH, so i said this is amy SHORT, your cousin in oregon, sarah's sister (sarah just went out there last week for his graduation), and i think it finally clicked for him who i was, heheh. so, i don't know how it came about happening, must've been some sort of weird glitch in the satellite systems, but it was still pretty wacky.
I still wonder about that. what are the odds?
