i am such a homebody
i hung out with a few people since i've gotten better. a couple of them are friends from when i was like FOUR years old! it was so crazy to see them again, and they definitely know how to show you a good time at a bar! i don't go to bars much, and the times that i have gone have been mediocre to kind of bad... so it was super awesome to really realize how awesome the bar scene can be when going with the right people (or really, what i mean, is people who love going to bars, therefore spreading their love and enjoyment to you!) :D :D :D :D yeah it was awesome. i haven't hang out with my friends out in madison. i've been too busy and lazy. mostly lazy. i really want to go... but just hanging out at my parents' house, rolling with the punches just seems like so much less driving... haha ;D
we're deciding whether or not we're going out to eat or not. jake, my brother, starts school tomorrow and anna, my sister, leaves after dinner to return to school. it's a nice day out. which is an incredible relief after this weekend being so blustery! saturday especially was soooooo cold!!!, though i had a really spiritually reconnecting listening to in rainbows by radiohead and watching the wind whip the oak trees around and admiring the greyness and chill juxtaposed with the greenness of summer. friday was nice though. we went tubing. toward the end, i was getting pretty exhausted and sore, so i turned around and laid flat on the tube. it was amazing because, you know how because our eyes/brain are so used to seeing the world as it is, that you can't really tell the curvature of the earth? well, when i was laying upsidedown, the huge open sky over the lake and moving at the speeds that we were, watching the storm roll in was, to say the least, an incredible experience! :D
as soon as i get back to olympia, i have to move. as we had originally planned to spend a day in portland, i have two days of my parents' help. i think they may nix the day in portland, which is disheartening, because i love sharing my favorite things with my parents, but i'm pretty sure getting out of my current apartment with help is more important. or something -.-
