My friend Louis is at my store right now doing some painting in our stock room and bathrooms.
As I was getting in my car to meet him at the store, my phone rang. It was my district manager calling.
She went through the whole story of how the store manager in Burleson is leaving, and then she asked me if I would be interested in being promoted to store manager at that store. I, of course, said yes.
She will be in my store to meet with me on Tuesday afternoon so that we can talk about money and when I would be transfering over there.
I'm kind of excited a little bit.
