My current travel plans
I'm leaving Pasadena on the morning of Sept. 1st (Wednesday). Most of the trip is unplanned. I'd like advice on what cool places I can see on the way. I don't mind driving out of the way, if it's a neat place to go. (I have a GPS. I also have a smart phone, so I should have internet access in a minimal sense most places.)
First goal: Hoover Dam.
Second goal: Zion?
Third goal: Grand Canyon (If we go through Zion, then probably only the north rim.)
From there, on to Denver. Any places between the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and Denver that I should see?
Any places between Denver and St. Louis?
Anything between St. Louis and Indianapolis?
And finally, between Indianapolis and NJ. (Though I'm fairly familiar with this route.)
