As it turns out, Saturday IS the day for cleaning! I've finally arranged my posters on my "inspiration wall" the way I want them (will post pictures later!). Also my "studio" (har, I use the term loosely) is also arranged the way I need it. All my multimedia on one end, my rats and sewing materials on the other. All I really need now is a folding table that's roughly.. four feet and square. That way I can work on my hammocks and whatnot without having to clear my computer desk. Oh, and a digital camera would be nice. Yup. I'm planning on selling hammocks again. We'll see if I follow through.
You don't realize how much crap you acquire until you're forced to sift through it. I accumulated quite a bit of it during my stay in Corpus. Much of it was tossed and only things that held real sentimental value stayed. Although I don't know where to put them.
Friday was pretty uneventful, save for the fact that I was able to use my minimal website skills to help my Mom's boss. She works over at the
Chamber of Commerce in Sinton, TX. I added the "
Buy a Brick" page and added the link to the menu. Haha. If I'd had access to the code of the website it would've been much easier. Instead I had to fumble with the program the person who maintains the website installed. God, what a mess. In any event it was very simple and it shows. If I'd had my way, it would've been much nicer. My Mom's boss seemed please though and it serves its purpose. So I'm glad I could help.
