QI Shirt, Doctor Who, No More School

Finals week is party week!
SO a lot couple of you were asking after the QI shirt. Thanks to the wonderful people at qi_fans it can be found here at cafepress. I'm not sure if you can actually buy it, but the design JPG is here if you want to make your own. Aren't those how the sites work? Just upload some design and KABLAM limited stock of the item?
There is a guy at my school who looks like a slightly blonder version of Rory. I asked him if he knew anything about Doctor Who, but alas the answer is negative. Actually, he may have been a bit preoccupied by copying my lab work.
Day 03. Your favorite new show (aired this TV season)
What can I say, I'm an old fogey, so zilch.
Day 04. Your favorite show ever
Oh, probably subject to change, as I do tend to switch obsessive fandoms, but I think Doctor Who would have to hit the mark. At risk of repeating myself, here's a cut and paste from when I did sci-fi show pitching in less then 500 words.
The show that encompasses all shows, Doctor Who has something for everyone, if only because of its immense running time allowing so many to contribute to the extensive and complex canon. Most who call themselves sci-fi fans will at least know the premise: a time lord from the planet Gallifrey flies around in a blue police box picking up people along the way and getting into zany adventures. Originally created in 1963 as an educational children’s program starring William Hartnell, the program has changed the main actor eleven times all ready in a process known as regeneration. Each Doctor has his own distinct personality as do the various “companions” giving at least one character you can like/relate to/ship. The show’s style varies greatly so even if you can’t stand the old black and white episodes the newer, snappier, CGI 2005 reboot might fit your palate. No one is asking you to like/understand/remember/watch every single episode. That’s the beauty of it. In terms of subject matter the episodes cover every possible genre or interest: comedy, hard core sci fi, philosophy, historical, techno babble, military, fantasy, drama. Most end up just being silly and camp and that’s wonderful.
Day 05. A Show you hate
Gossip Girl. My sister made me watch the first season with her in return for watching the Mind Robber, the War Games, Robots of Death and New!Who Season 3. I wanted to kill myself, swear to God. I'm not going to even go into why I hate it so much, because frankly it's not worth the time and effort.

Hmm, usually I read reviews of episodes before I watch them so I've avoided most of the bad ones, but Twin Dilemma's got to be one of the worst things I ever allowed myself to witness. For me at least, it marks the point at which Doctor Who leaps over that fragile line between lovably camp and cheaply overdone.

Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead, mystery, horror, tragedy, romance, sci fi, drama, character development, books, interesting one time characters, great special effects, engaging plot, this episode is fantastic.
Day 04 - Your Favorite Doctor
Some of you on my flist know how much I HATE this question. Honestly, it's unfair and I feel that people can't really call themselves Who fans unless the appreciate (if not the whole thing) several eras. For me every Doctor is the Doctor, despite how it sounds like a cop out, they are all the same character and I will always love him. (In more than one way, what can I say, I have a Doctor fetish.)
But, if I HAD to choose totally these guys.
Wow, finding pictures of them alone where they didn't look like total freaks/creepers, was hard.
Day 05 - Your Favorite Companion
So many to choose from! I haven't seen enough to really judge. I like a lot, but to say LOVE i'd have to go with. . .
Jamie - d'aw, he means well. Sleepy time? (I swear, he can fall asleep in two seconds.)
Zoe - Smart, she knows what she wants and can manage on her own (sometimes, although remember she's just nineteen) I totally have the hots for her (actually I find almost every companion attractive, but Zoe stands out), such lovely eyes. GET THAT ARSE.
Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart - 'Cause sometimes, the Doctor just needs a FRIEND. The brig is his ultimate BFF, after the TARDIS.
Harry - He's so sweet and well meaning and a good foil for Sarah and Four craziness.
Sarah Jane - Speaking of fun loving craziness . . . Sarah was just amazing on so many levels. She's like how I'd imagine a lot of fangirls would be with the Doctor. Trying their best, frustrated sometimes, butt loving it all the way, despite having to depend on him a bit to much for comfort.
Turlough - A change from the norm. Snarky, ginger, tight fitting school uniform, sneaky and with OMG backstory!
Donna - For once an older companion, sweet, caring, but kept him in his place.
