Octavian the felted (or cute poked, rather) Octopus for thing-a-dayOriginally uploaded by
missnikkiraeSo it turns out thing-a-day is more like thing-every-few-days or thing-on-days-when-I-have-time. Which is totally fine, I am just trying to incorporate the habit of sitting down and working on creative stuff regularly.
This little guy is Octavian, the felted octopus. He came into being when a few puffs of wool met their fate at the point of my sharp, barbed felting needle. The puffs were cute poked to death until their death created new life, the life of Octavian. He has another friend, Narcissa the Narwhal, she lives on the fridge in the northernmost freezer territory. From time to time she comes down to swim around in the blissful sea with Octavian, always looking for new companions or puffs of fluffs.
