So...in March I paid off my car.  I was very pleased, because it was about 3 months early, and I was looking forward to not having a car payment for a while.

Immediately thereafter, the fuel pump went out.  Replaced it for about $300.

Last month, the A/C stopped working when the car was stopped.  Took it to a shop who diagnosed the problem as needing

GUH. i hate car problems. especially sudden out of nowhere car problems relating to accidents or other major malfunctions that are entirely NOT YOUR FAULT.

Yeah. If I treated my car like crap it wouldn't be quite so bad...but when I take care of it, and get it JUST RIGHT, only to have it killed before my very eyes... I'm eating lots of ice cream this evening. And possibly sobbing like a little bitch.

Why do parents get their irresponsible 16 year old children things that are capable of killing large animals? You should have to drive a baby honda until you quit driving like a dumb a$$. There's a reason though that boys have higher insurance rates.

We got rear ended in Las Cruces by a 15 year old (hardship license) in a Tahoe, cause she was in the left lane, and couldn't figure out why it was slowing down, so instead of looking up, she swapped to the right lane, only to find out it was stopped due to some idiot going "gee, the on ramp is closed, I"m going to stop in the middle of the road here till I figure out how to get my thumb out of my a$$" And we were behind them. WHAM! Thankfully it was a rental. I'd have been more pissed off if it was my car.

Yeah, today I had my "ARGH THIS SUCKS" breakdown and went on a tearful rant about how this stupid little boy got this car handed to him without working just because his parents are rich and godammit I worked for my car rawr rawr rawr. I'm over it now, but seriously: why does anyone give a 16 year old (especially a 16 year old boy) a brand new SUV? UGH.

Oh that SUCKS. Honestly, there are times I think that folks under 18 should be forced to ride with an adult... Hell, you remember the insanity that we used to get in to, and we were hardly wild?! How many people did we cram in to your little car, like 10?

Yes, poor little Saturn...now I'm just waiting to see if they want to fix it or just write me a check :(
