Seriously?!

I am freaking seething.

I skipped lunch and left at 4 because I was so excited about The Sims 3.  I ran home, installed it, created a family...and the game crashed.  I restarted, played for a minute, and the game crashed again.  Repeat for the past four hours.

According to the Sims3.com forums, this is a common problem.  According to their own system ( Read more... )

It sucks SO HARD. I have my fancy new(ish) computer, it's cleaned and defragged and purring...and the game will literally play for A MINUTE.

Nor can I register it, because the website just keeps bringing me right back to the registration page.

EA has screwed the pooch on this one.

Yeah, it's not a good time.

Folks on sims3.com are saying that the DL version is somehow NOT as buggy, but I'm taking that with a grain of salt...

Yeah; it looks like they delayed it JUST for publicity (so they could release it during E3) because they certainly didn't fix anything.
