If the sale's not actually in the garage, is it still a garage sale?
Aside from my horrendous sunburn, Europe Fund Garage Sale-a-palooza went well yesterday--made about $200, which I was amazed by since we didn't have any "big" items--no furniture, little electronics, etc.
My mother, who grew up in Indiana, at first questioned me about a one day garage sale (we had never had one since moving down here--24+ years). "At home we'd always have it the full weekend, until we got rid of everything." As the temperature climbed in to the high 90's, she saw the wisdom of the one day garage sale :)
Also, I'm so tired of heat. I walked to the grocery at 9am this morning and it was already 87 degrees. UGH.
