Well, I'm back from camping and it wasn't nearly as awful as I'd expected.  Goliad SP is lovely.  It's mostly historical, with the Presidio La Bahia, Mission Espiritu Santo, grave of Colonel Fannin & his troops (400 men who were slaughtered by General Santa Anna outside Presidio La Bahia), and the Angel of Goliad statue (a Mexican woman who helped ( Read more... )

Sure go ahead and get us a room there! If they need the confirmation number for our race 30249016-022208182516.

And I too need to get a new brace, mine was made specifically for my knee, 10 years ago.

And yay for the Stride & Ride race! WTG!!

YAYZ! Guess I should put in my day off request, too ;)

I never had knee problems until after this last 5K...I don't know what I did, but my knee sure as hell doesn't like it. Now I can train for this AND Beach to Bay at the same time! :)

Thanks for your help with Stride & Ride, I really appreciate it!!! :)

OK, we're booked at All Star Sports for September 26-28! WHOO! I'm looking at a really early flight so I can get there, go get my ID (again!), and then we can hit a park or two. I'm so excited that the race isn't until the evening! That gives us a whole other park day! *happy dance*

Lucky! Nothing was leaving here early this year. So I'm getting in again around 2pm, but leaving Orlando is a different story. I don't leave till after 6pm.

WE can totally do other parks Saturday since the race is in the evening and they are keeping the park open till midnight for us.
