"Picked a hell of a day to quit smoking"
So...I'm looking at the different political campaigns, right? I'm thinking I should go to meetings & whatnot, discuss things with supporters, hear the yays and nays of Hillary-Obama-McCain.
McCain I can't find anything at all about meetups in the area. Either no one cares, or they just don't care vocally just yet. So scratch that. (Plus, I don't trust McCain nearly as much as I did back in 2000, when I easily would've voted for him over Gore.)
The nearest Hillary thing is in EDNA, which is quite a ways away and not something I'm willing to drive for. So scratch THAT.
Obama has a group here meeting this month...but the "chairperson" is a woman I cannot STAND. I've met her several times previously, and each and every time she comes off as a total bitch. I don't really fancy being on her team, or being...you know, anywhere near her.
So I guess I'll just do the online thing and try to figure out when the Obama-Hillary TX debate will be. I'd totally drive to Austin to see that *nods vigorously*
