"We Got One!"

What a lovely time!  Went to Waldenbooks' Grand Hallows Ball and it was grand!

Made the decision this morning that I was going to dress up (because really, any excuse for me to dress up), and decided that I should really be Tonks as it would give me an excuse to dye my hair.  So after work I went to the thrift store, where I got a long black coat ( Read more... )

Aw, you make an excellent Tonks, seriously. Eerily good. ♥

I think my favorite thing out of the two pictures was that pissed off lady sitting on the bench in the background. "Oh Fucking Hell. Why am I even here? How did my kid turn into such a loser? Ass. I can't wait eight years when he's 18 and I can finally kick his stupid ass OUT. GOD."

Thanks!

Hehehe, yeah, there were lots of those. And crying babies whose parents drug them out WAY past bedtime. And a GROWN MAN dressed as DOBBY THE HOUSE ELF. I cannot stress how terrifying this was.

That is VERY disturbing. Plus, I'm totally betting he wasn't a dad or anything that might even explain why a grown man would dress like Dobby the house elf. I bet he writes Harry/Firenze and Ginny/Giant Squid fan fic ftw.

PS. Your icon makes me happy. Sirius/Remus = ULTIMATE HP OTP, HANDS DOWN.

Very terrifying. It was one of the Star Trek people, LOL.

I maintain that Sirius & Remus are still much in lurve. Tonks is a BEARD!!!!

I'm just happy for you that the Draco won the coin toss. I hope that Dobie (the mother of the grown man that was dressed up as Dobby) was not too much of a pain in the ass to you as she was for us in the days before the event.

At least you saw that I was appologizing in advance if the grown man dress as Dobby had won.

I'm glad you had much fun.

Tonks for the memories.

I actually didn't talk to Dobie--though her son did approach me to introduce his wife.

LOL, everyone around me was :)

Thank You. Had a lovely weekend and it was nice of JK to think of me and put the book out on my day.

Great costume and I'm glad that you won. It's fun to dress-up. We should have to do it on every holiday and special occasion, and not just with nice clothes.

Glad you had a good one! sings off key: "and many moooooore..." ;) Of course JK was thinking of you! It's no coincidence that Harry's birthday was a big deal in this book! :)

Thanks! I think so, too! Costumes make anything better!
