"We Got One!"
What a lovely time! Went to Waldenbooks' Grand Hallows Ball and it was grand!
Made the decision this morning that I was going to dress up (because really, any excuse for me to dress up), and decided that I should really be Tonks as it would give me an excuse to dye my hair. So after work I went to the thrift store, where I got a long black coat for $1.66 and then to the beauty supply for some dye. A word of advice--don't used "Jazzing" hair color--after 3 attempts, my hair still wasn't completely covered, so I went to Walgreens & bought pink spray-in color.
I was crowned Queen of the Grand Hallows Ball (aka costume contest winner--female), and my king? Little Draco Malfoy. LOL. Scariest costume? The GROWN MAN dressed as DOBBY THE HOUSE ELF. I know some of the folks at Waldens got some good shots, because all mine seem to suck...but it was awesome.
Now the question stands: stay awake another 5 hours and read before work, or sleep?
