Two weeks ago, I read a friend of my brother's - and now it seems my friend too... connections are so exciting - first novel. I can honestly say, it was gripping and exciting writing. I've never really been big on journals. To be honest, I despise them. I generally don't like the form, I very rarely enjoy reading them (yes, even the diary of Ann Frank I'm afraid to say) and I find them tedious.
