Disclaimer: I REFUSE to say they aren't mine! *thinkspositive* /(>_<)\

"I love you..."

The words echo as they fade into obscurity. Just another dream. The same dream over and over again.

Yunho thinks that if he could just stop dreaming about him maybe his heart could let go.

Pushing himself up onto his elbow, Yunho looks to the other members, seeking the simple comfort that watching his love's sleeping form always brings. The moonlight streaming in through the uncovered windows illuminates two blanket covered bodies. Yoochun and Junsu.

His bed is empty. So is another's.

Beating down the sudden urge to cry gives Yunho a splitting headache.

He knows.

He knows that somewhere in the house the two of them have taken this chance to be alone.

Stolen a moment in time to make their own. Just the two of them. Making memories that they will quietly smile at each other about over breakfast tomorrow.

The other members of their little group don't have a clue that two of their number have become a single entity.

Yunho though...Yunho has always known.

Ironically, Yunho was worried about them in the beginning.

~FLASHBACK~

The two of them had started fighting all the time. Over nothing and everything. The tension between them was stifling the rest of the group and Yunho, getting fed up, shoved them in the bedroom and told them to;

"Work it out before you leave this room for ANY reason!"

They worked it out alright.

It was deadly silent in there for the first hour or so, then the yelling started. Then the fighting started.

Seeing how scared his other two members were getting at the seriousness of the fight, Yunho sent them out. Told them to go get something to eat, go to the movies, visit Junsu's family, anything to get them away from what sounded like two of their friends, their brothers, trying to kill each other.

Knowing that the two of them needed to get through this if Dong Bang Shin Ki was to survive, Yunho didn't interfere.

He didn't interfere, but he sat in the hall outside the bedroom in case he needed to intervene. He didn't expect to though. Yunho knew that they were both strong. They'd live through this.

He only started to worry when the fighting suddenly stopped.

It didn't slow down or ease up it just...stopped.

Worried now, afraid of what he would find, Yunho slowly opened the door.

What he saw made him feel as if HE had taken a punch to the stomach.

The two of them, covered in blood and bruises were.....it wasn't even really kissing. It was as if they were trying to draw the other man into their very skin.

They sank onto the edge of the bed, but barely hit it and slid off onto the floor instead. Neither one seemed to notice.

Yunho was shaken out of his paralysis when the clothes started coming off. Aided by desperate hands whose very attempts at speed became a hindrance.

There was the man that it seemed like he had loved forever, writhing on the floor, with someone else.

He didn't know what to do. He was still so shocked that he could barely comprehend what his eyes were seeing. It just didn't seem real.

His heart demanded that he march in there and rip the other man away from his love.

In the end however, all Yunho did was quietly shut the door.

When the moaning started, Yunho cried. And walked away.

When they emerged from the bedroom, it was as if the last couple months of bickering and fighting had never happened.

Yoochun and Junsu were relieved to come home and find that Jaejoong and Changmin had resolved the conflict between them.

Everything was seemingly back to normal for everyone. For everyone but Yunho. For Yunho nothing would ever be the same.

~END OF FLASHBACK~

Knowing that his headache wasn't going to let him go back to sleep Yunho got up and headed towards the kitchen. He wasn't afraid of running into Jaejoong and Changmin, he knew exactly where they were. In Changmin and Junsu's music room.

Turning on the light, Yunho rummaged around in the cupboards until he found the aspirin he was looking for. Taking the medicine, Yunho was about to leave when he heard a noise.

Knowing the cause and knowing the hurt it would give him, Yunho nonetheless still followed it. Out the sliding glass door that someone (probably Yoochun, smoking) had left ajar, along the balcony to a small window at the very end.

It was true that one man's trash was another man's treasure or in this case, Jaejoong and Changmin's small bit of heaven was Yunho's personal hell.

Jaejoong, Yunho and Yoochun shared a music room as did Changmin and Junsu. Since there were only the two of them in their music room, Min and Su had room for a futon and it was here that Jaejoong and Changmin retreated when they needed to be alone.

Futon folded down, covered in sheets and soft blankets, candles providing the only illumination, they would transform one tiny corner of an equally tiny room into all they needed in the World.

Approaching the softly glowing window Yunho takes a deep breath before he peers in through the small gap in the curtains.

There they were as he knew they would be. His love making love with another. Never him.

Yunho had seen them a couple of times, usually accidentally, in the long year that they had been together.

Whenever he caught them backstage at a concert or a photo shoot (or once in an airplane bathroom) their touches were hurried, frenzied. As if they just hadn't been able to contain themselves any longer.

But at home...it was different.

There was no hurry. They touched with love and tenderness, the loving slow and deep and languid.

Yunho had watched them once, from beginning to end, hoping that it was just sex. Just a slaking of physical need, but it wasn't and that is what killed him the most.

He could see as clear as day the love shared between the two. His love looking at the other man with such love in his eyes that it was painful to witness. Yunho had long dreamed of having that look directed at himself.

He knew though, that it never would be. He had been too late. Never confessed, always waiting for the perfect moment, just the right time until he ran out of time.

If only.....but, no. It probably would have turned out the same even if he had confessed.

Jaejoong and Changmin were meant for each other.

Hearing the quiet noises his love was making that signaled his eminent orgasm, Yunho knew it was time to leave.

As painful as it was to watch their lovemaking, the aftermath was what really tore Yunho's heart to pieces.

Coming down, they would kiss and touch until their heartbeats slowed. Then they would move and cradle each other in their arms. Just holding each other, gently caressing a muscled arm, a sculpted back. Having whispered conversations of what was happening in their life, what they hoped for in the future, that they loved each other.

It was seeing that that made Yunho fully realize the futility of his affections.

Oddly enough, it was also that which was making it easier for Yunho to get over him.

Knowing his love was so fully loved in return was slowly helping to ease the pain in Yunho's heart. It was a slow process, but Yunho had hope that one day he would finally be free.

He only hoped that when he did find his own true love, that their love was as strong and immutable as that of Jaejoong and Changmin.
