What's new? I've been working a lot -- at my job, at freelance stuff I probably shouldn't have taken on, at conference work, and various other junk. I just wrote again the other day for the first time in months, so I'm back to...not square one, but some long-ago square probably.
I'm bad at prioritizing, as I tend to be swamped with school/work -- so when writing and other arts (that I actually want to work at career-wise) are NOT my primary school/work, they fall by the wayside, unfortunately.
Tonight I'm heading out to Ottawa, which I'm actually pretty excited about. I've never been there, but I've gone through and it looks beautiful. Also I'm staying with my cousin who is sweet enough to have made plans for me, which is awesome.
Also, the conference I'm going to -- it's a literary conference, themed "Escape" -- does not have many papers I think are in my area, but will have wine and cheese and far fewer people spewing jargon I completely don't understand. And I get to use Canadian money. MAN. Money all the same colour is confusing.
So that's my boring little life. Otherwise, Jay and I hit eleven months, I have a Glee problem, I'm finally ready to run a roleplaying campaign though I'm out of town too often this month to start it, our cat is due to have babies soon, I really suck at losing weight (as if I ever have time to exercise, other than walking to where I'm going), and I've been having weird symptoms of allergic reactions that happen and go away, though I am allergic to...absolutely nothing.
And: I had better head home and clean myself up before I head over to ye olde Greyhound bus.
